Residents in non English-speaking communities do not participate in the City of Seattle’s recycling program.

What I Did

I designed a visual wayfinding system to help residents know what kinds of recyclable garbage can be put in which recycling container.

How It Helped
Test study participants are more easily able to recycle using the wayfinding system I designed, increasing their participation in the recycling program.
