Design Problem
Usability testing indicated that Windermere.com search pages were difficult to navigate. Search updates required clicks on multiple buttons with obscure labels and the page was cluttered with choices only needed by advanced users.
What I Did
I designed a completely new website starting with a single, easy to use search toolbar on the homepage. I designed an intuitive set of navigation icons and a toolbar user interface for performing actions within a property listing view. Several rounds of usability testing were done to hone the design.
